Other than that they all bolt up the same and give you different amounts of clamp load and different amounts of pedal effort. Slightly different engagement points because the pivot point on the spring is different between them. I believe the Sachs 764 has a 7:1 ratio from the T/O bearing to the face movement to the face movement. So it takes 7 millimeters of travel at the T/O bearing to get 1 millimeter of travel at the face- versus a stock pressure plate that has a 5:1 ratio. So with the higher travel with a higher clamp load, you end up with about the same pedal effort- a slightly stiffer but a dramatically increased clamping In this series, we'll show you the reasons why and how to upgrade your single disc clutch to a Protomotive Dual disc clutch. .
