Protomotive Dual Walbro 450 in tank 996t fuel pump upgrade. Using the factory basket, remove your OEM pump and snap in huge power potential! Dual Walbro 450’s, flowing 50% more than Bosch 044, that’s 450lb vs. 300lb. Bosch 044 are rated at 720hp/each pump, so you do the math! We’ve run these to nearly 1300whp on E85. That would be over 1700whp potential on standard fuels (remember the fuel density of E85 if you’re doing quick calculations).
Protomotive’s fuel systems are also available in Single, and 997.1T in tank setups.
The Dual Walbro 450 in tank 996t is for in-tank installations only. We also offer complete chassis fuel systems to compliment this.
These can be set up for constant dual, switchable using hobb’s or aftermarket fuel systems, or you may even have a pwm controller you’d like to use.
No messy surge tank type systems to mess with.
Quiet and cool running.
