Why do you need to Pin your 997 turbo cams?

• Do you have Spun cams?
• Do you Need to Pin your 997 turbo cams?
• Are you getting error codes P0011, P0016, P0018, P0020, P0021 etc. for Cam/Crank Synch, slow response on cam
• Is your boost down causing your performance to be way off?
• All these symptoms tell us that the internal sleeve has spun in your cam
• This is a very common issue on 997.1TT
• Don’t go to Porsche for this issue since they’ll just put another cam in with the same problem
• Send them here, we’ll fix the sleeves permanently and return them quickly for a permanent fix.

Warning!

• Please don’t try to do this yourself
• We’ve received too many damaged camshafts from shops or customers attempting to rotate the inner sleeve, or even drilling new holes through it only resulting in an unusable cam!
• We’ve got this covered, and same or next day turn around.

Note: This is a service provided to repair your 997.1TT intake cams (2).   Please pack your cams carefully to avoid damage in transport.  The best practice is to individually bubble wrap each cam.  Then wrap with cardboard or slide in a tube.  Finally pack them well in a box.  Be sure to insure properly if they do get damaged!  We can never be too careful when it comes to our loved ones 🙂  Packing suggestion intagram cam shipping

What extra parts might I need?

• For replacement rings on the end of the cams use part # 996 105 280 90, qty 6
• The friction washer is part # 997 105 203 70
• Always replace the cam bolts as well, part # 987 105 254 00 for the intake and  part# 997 105 317 71 for the exhaust.
